This art piece is an attempt to positively impact Humanity. This is done by giving out flowers with a note saying, "For whatever you are dealing with, you deserve this." On the back of the card is the You Deserve a Flower email address. This blog is a catalog of the responses. I highly encourage others to do this. Every single person in the whole world deserves a flower for something they are dealing with, this is a movement to make that happen.

Thank you
Thank you for the beautiful magenta flower. I had just picked up my son
from preschool and was watching him throw a stick into the street.
Suddenly a smiling face handed me a flower and was gone. What a nice
moment of kindness and fun. -- Olivia
Thank you!!
Thanks so much for the flower the other day, you are a gem!
--Talia
Thank you Talia. We just returned from the coast flower distributing mission! It went super well. unfortunately i didn't have time to hand out many flowers. I did however give some amazing people a bunch of flowers so they will be distributing them for me. After they hand them all out i want to interview them about their experiences. This will then turn into a mini documentary so look for that in the coming weeks.

First Donation!
So recently i received my first donation for this art piece. It couldn't have come at a better time, you see my wonderful girlfriend and I have been planing a vacation to Portland for a while and figured we might as well hand flowers out in towns on the way there and back. the first donation is enough to get this started, though i could always use more. The more donations i have the more flowers i can have which means the more happiness i can spread. So please please donate and help me spread the love, i know its clique but every bit does help even 5 dollars. Thank you for your time and appreciation of this piece.

Dear Nathan,
Dear Nathan,
I keep the flower you handed me in a small vase of water (it's still doing its daisy thing, blooming right along) and your hand lettered card propped up on my desk. I knew you were an art person by the way you handled the typography, and it was clear you were - are! - an artist in that larger realm of the human heart. I am so grateful for the way you reached out to open my heart on that day a week or so ago. I didn't know how to thank you (there wasn't anything written on the back of my card) and so I was glad to see the article about you in the Chronicle yesterday. May blessings be returned to you many times over.

You deserve a flower Nathan
Thank you very much for the pick me up today Nathan! I can't even
remember the last time I received a flower. It's the simple things that
remind us of the beauty in life. Thanks for sharing the love my friend. I
hope you feel the love in return.
Love, Nicki
