Sarah Devitt

Hey Nathan!

Thanks for the thoughtful flower today! I read your blog and absolutely love what you are doing. What a wonderful, easy way to brighten people's day :) I was definitely having a case of the Monday's when you ran into me today. Thanks for the little pick me up! Keep cheering up the ladies (and men??) of Bozeman!! Maybe you'll inspire others to do so too :)

Take care!!

Ps, I needed something to put in the center of a craft project I've been working on, but couldn't decide what to put in the center. So, I decided you use your note! Now when people ask about my little art project, I can mention what you do :) I wish I could attach a picture of it, but I don't know how to do that...dang it!!

Thank you for the Flower!

Dear Nathan,
Thank you for sweet flower and note today! I was not having the best day and your adorable gesture put a smile on my face and made me feel special. This world needs more beautiful art and people like you! You are a wonderful person and you deserve a flower too! Thank you for making my day and reminding me to smile and smell the flowers.

Love this idea!!

Hi Nathan

You handed me your card today as I was running up the street. I was nearing the top of the hill and feeling a little tired but your flower and note gave me a little boost. What a great way to brighten up the world a little bit : )

Hey stranger,

Thanks a lot for noticing little details about others where lots of people just pass by.
I was really having a bad day, struggling with my study notes. It was my first exam in America and i felt extremely nervous. When you first handed me the flower, i was a little shocked because in Turkey we are not used to this kind of "thoughtful people". After reading your note i just got relaxed and became more comfortable with myself and the exam. It is probably one of the effects of that lovely flower.

Thanks again.

Made me smile

Hey Nathan!

Thanks so much for the flower! It really made my day. I was in a blah mood that day and then you handed me that flower. I've never received a flower and it really made me happy. I was up until like 230 am studying for an immunology exam and that flower gave me encouragement. I still have it in my room where it is slowly dying. :( but still it was a great gesture.  I totally support what you are doing. I called,y sister shortly after you handed me the flower so I am spreading what you are doing. Thanks again!

Nathan -

I adore what you are doing and completely support it. I was pretty much minding my own business walking down mainstreet, but i did notice you with that gorgeous flower and wondered who the lucky girl was. When you handed it to me, I couldn't believe it! It is so nice knowing that somebody out there is looking to the bright side of things, and you pretty much made my day a lot nicer :) Thanks so much for the flower, and also the inspiration. It's incredibly thoughtful of you to be out there doing this, and I'm super glad I got to be one of the people who saw it first-hand!

 Nathan,
When I saw you walking towards me, I thought, Aaw, that's so sweet. I wonder who he got that flower for." And then you gave it to me! This is an incredible project. It's so good to know there are people out there who will spend this much time to make a stranger happy! It definitely fixed my stressed out mood today, so thank you :) Good luck with this inspirational project! I'm going to spread the good feelings to everyone I see today.

Thank you Megan you turned my day around as well.

BIG SMILES!

This is the first post of 'You Deserve a Flower'. today i gave out about 25 flowers. I got one response and it was from a lovely woman named Sally Dickinson, her email is as follows:

Today, you passed me a white snapdragon with a thoughtful message - a huge smile of encouragement....and what a difference!  Joan Baez has a great song about connecting with older people....and it is so true.  Thank you so much for your imagination, your artistry, your gesture.  We are visiting from Gainesville, Florida and I had just walked over near College Street to see about enting a little place for a month next summer.  AM going to make sure we do it!  Good cheer to you, as well.....and lovely flowers and gestures in YOUR future!  Thank you.  Sally Dickinson
